A Writer 'Fesses Up

In response to recent revelations about the work of J T Leroy and James Frey (A Million Little Pieces), funny man Tim Carvell writes an op-ed in today's NYT about plaguarism, errors, omissions and elisions (?) in his best-selling memoir , "A Brief History of Tim".

In lieu of accusations against Frey of fabricating portions of his book, where are you going to place it? Keep it in nonfiction or move it to fiction? Some bookstores apaprently are doing both.

What do you think you'll do?

I don't think this writer has the "right stuff" for fiction or non fiction....Clearly he should be a political pundit...these qualities he exhibits would serve him well .
