About the AOL/Google announcement


Marissa Mayer, VP of Search Products & User Experience at Google Writes about the AOL deal. Biased results? No way. Indexing more of AOL's content. And best of all, There will be no banner ads on the Google homepage or web search results pages.


Google has always been about providing a straightforward, unbiased user experience. That's why we like them so much.

Google has to be the only major site still on the Net where you get nothing but a white screen and a blank search box. I'm glad to hear it won't get any more complicated. Thanks MSN, but I don't need my horoscope any dating tips - I just want to find something.
