Denver Library tells feds: Butt out

One From The Denver Post on a move by the Denver Public Library this week that has inserted itself into the national political debate over the USA Patriot Act.On Monday, the library strung, between its east pillars, white plastic tape with large letters reading: "Privacy Line - Do Not Cross." Smaller text read, "Stop Secret Searches - ACLU -"

According to the latest UConn Roper poll (June 2005), we can assume that DPL disagrees with 57% of its tax supporting constituents.

Which comes closer to your view--overall, would you say the Patriot Act is a good thing for America or a bad thing for America?

    57% (good)

    30% (bad)

    13% (too busy with VH1)
