Hacker crashes library system's catalog


Katie writes "The Chicago Tribune is reporting in this article* that a hacker broke into and crashed the the server used by a number of libraries in the North Suburban Library System for their catalog and circulation functions. Apparently the hacker had been attempting to use the server for illegal file sharing and crashed the system when technicians discovered the breach. *Free registration may be required."
