On "Talk of the Nation" there is an interview with Ken Weil, director, South Huntington Public Library on Long Island about the library lending iPods to listen to audiobooks.

Question.How would individual libraries' users take up the matter where therecould be a lack of confidence in the leadership of their publiclibrary?... If this is happening it should not be. Kinda frustrating if librarians are all up in arms about the Patriot Act and patron privacy and then they divulge your info just to gossip. At least the Patriot Act is gahtering the info for National Security. Your original post is still offtopic and as such this one will be to.
