Library in Billings Reopens Amidst Teamsters Strike

The employees of the Parmly Billings Library in Montana are on strike with other city Teamster employees. The Billings Gazette has story about how the library has reopened for the first time in a week with a skeleton staff. Patrons are relieved to have access to the library, while those who choose to not cross the picket line will have fines waived.

Did I miss it?

I did not see this in the story. I did see this at the end of the story For those who don't want to go to the library during the strike, don't worry about overdue books. Cochran said due dates have been extended to two weeks after the strike ends. Having your due date extended is not quite the same as waiving fines for those who do not cross the picket line. It sounds like everyones due date is being extended whether you cross the picket line or not.
