International Children’s Digital Library Offers Free Books

The International Children’s Digital Library is a project of the U of MD and the Internet Archive. It's purpose is to make freely available a collection of more than 10,000 books in at least 100 languages via the web. Read all about it.

I like the way this project is set up. With the addition of a tappable SMARTBoard perhaps such could be set up to do story hours for children with good eyesight?

It's been listed in ODP for close to 2 years.

For the first couple of years, the books couldn't be read without downloading special software. That has, thankfully, changed.
