NC Librarian Arrested by Immigration Agents

Federal agents have arrested an Alamance County employee they claim is an illegal immigrant.

Angel Martinez, a librarian at the public library in Burlington, was arrested Tuesday by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents for falsely claiming to be a U.S. citizen and committing Social Security fraud.

And to think I worked in a public library right in the nation's capital on an expired visa for months! They say that you have to bring illegals in to do the jobs Americans don't want. Working for DCPL definitely qualifies.

Nice Spanish language collection ...

Really, look at the catalog. They have an especially nice Spanish language fiction collection.

I tried the word espanol in their catalog.
