Library staff trained to better serve the autistic

Librarians from across Montgomery County attended a training workshop last month to learn about autism spectrum disorder.

The session also was meant to empower the librarians with specific techniques to offer more inclusive and comprehensive customer service when interacting with individuals with autism and their families.
