Different People, Different Heroes
Remember that different people have different heroes. Bloody terrorists that attack military installations in Virginia can be bastards to some, such as the 9/11 al Queda, or heroes to others, such as John Brown's attack on Harper's Ferry, VA in 1859.
There used to be a number of schools and libraries named after John Brown in the US. He was, and is, seen as a hero to some, and a villain to others.
I know, I know, "But that's different!"

A medical library?
How fitting. I guess.
