I just love to see librarians making bold moves like this.

Right now the university is testing netLibrary’s service and will continue to do so through the end of the month.
By then, Hoeth and her staff will have selected 500 titles for purchase. Depending on their selections, the service will cost the university $30,000.
Hoeth said that’s probably more money than it would cost to buy hardback books, which typically cost between $50 and $60 a copy.
