Libraries work to keep kids from seeing porn


Opinion piece in the Arizona Daily Star

A recent letter to the editor presented a misleading picture of the Pima County Public Library and the Board of Supervisors' efforts to protect children from viewing pornography on library computers.
In August 2006, following media reports of pornography being viewed on library computers, the Board of Supervisors appointed a community task force to review the computer-use policy and make recommendations to the board regarding changes needed to protect children and youth from viewing pornography at libraries.

Oh yea, we have to keep

Oh yea, we have to keep those kids protected from the likes of Manet and his ilk. And yes, I work in a place where that Manet would be seen as porn (take a guess, and what does that image here have to do with the story anyways?).
