Need. Help. Eyes. Won't. Stop. Rolling.
hmm
so I guess the "hip, young librarian" movement is over? thanks, OCLC.
For a great analysis
The lovely and intelligent Jessamyn West has a really good dialog on her blog regarding this. As I read it I thought to myself "Yeah, this is what I wanted to say, but I didn't really understand how."
Check it out. I think it sums things up really well.

One More Thing
Am I the only one who thought that by typing a response in that I geek X box, you were going to get some kind of thing to make your own geeking poster or sign or, well, something? I think they missed out there and this whole... thing, could've been made a lot more interesting if my staff and I could've made some kind of poster or something to post at the front desk.
Oh well.

that would be a good idea
suggest it to them? maybe it wouldn't be that hard to achieve~
Well

Here, That Wasn't So Hard...
So I don't have to be at work until 11 today. And I have Photoshop along with Publisher and far too much free time on my hands...
Now actually getting a website to render this? That's FAR beyond my capabilities. I know just enough PHP to crash a server real good. :)

I'm impressed
Is that you wearing the tie?
Well...
It's my alter-ego wearing the tie. I try not to wear anything that someone can readily use to hang me with. :)
