The Governor of Delaware announced a new STEM education initiative yesterday. Public libraries in Delaware provide a number of programs and resources which support STEM education which could be used in support of the Governor's innovative program:

Science, Technology, Engineering and Math

I strongly believe that one of the problems in generating more awareness and excitement about STEM education is the consistent omission of what STEM is most news items about STEM.

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math and is well worth our children's study.
