Copying library CDs is piracy

Copying library CDs is piracy... David Einstein from sfgate.com says: "Think of it this way: You wouldn't illegally download music, because that would make you a pirate, and you'd have to wear an eye patch and go around yelling "Aargh." Copying a CD you don't own is also piracy."

I once had a patron who repeatedly asked me to show her how to copy our music ccds. As it's bad customer service. to say no, i kept referring her to her teenaged son. Didn't work. Finally i left for greener pastures and didn't have to deal with her any longer.
