Other than gratuitous insults and bad data...
Well, it's MaximumPC, and to them I'm clearly one step away from the grave, so maybe that gratuitous insult at anybody who remembers Hollerith cards is appropriate. Claiming they went out of use in 1975, though, is just plain absurd--Hollerith cards were actively used well into the 1980s. (Also surprising that the article missed Zip drives, briefly very successful, while including a whole slew of never-successful media such as LS120. Ah well, it's MaximumPC.)
