Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh announces plan to close/merge branches

<a href="">The Carnegie Library</a> of Pittsburgh's board of trustees voted last night to close or merge eight facilities, trim hours and cut staff to save an estimated $1.2 million in the 2010 budget.
