CA Department of Corrections Librarians
Hi:
I was the Supervisory Librarian at the Sierra Conservation Center (Jamestown CA, another DOC prison) and was let go after 6 months in 2006 on the basis that I had a traffic ticket which was not job related and had failed to disclose a probationary termination 20 years earlier which was not required to be disclosed by the CA State Personnel Board.
It seems to be a common sport at the CA Department of Corrections to try to file criminal charges against employees they want to get rid of.
