Bush library in a closet (Cheney gets a bunker)

A Pittsburgh Tribune-Review 'article' states that the presidential papers accumulated over the eight years of the George W. Bush administration can "fit comfortably in a single cardboard box" and that library planned for them at SMU might end up smaller as a result. Also, the new curator for Dick Cheney's library, "Scooter" Libby (yes, that one), says the address for his completely underground facility will not be made available to the general public. Funding for the library comes 100% from Halliburton.

And to think, the First Lady is a librarian.

Yes, it deserves debunking (especially when I checked in on the thread later and saw a bunch more debunking rather then droll amusement). The fact that it gives one cause to do so is almost enough to make the joker's point.

Merely calling this item an article doesn't do this piece justice. Fine satire, yes. News, not so much.

It is in the first line of the 'article'.

Simply silly. Someone wants a job at the Onion.

Just as long as I don't have to move to New York.
