ACLU Sues S.C. Jail Over Bible-Only Policy

The American Civil Liberties Union is suing a South Carolina jail over a policy that prohibits inmates from having any reading materials other than the Bible.

How could they think this policy would pass muster?

Decades old

Policy is probably decades old.

Don't diss the bible

Inmates will always need something to use to hide stuff in, use for home made cigarettes and of course to wipe their bums on.
Surely depriving them of that is against their human rights? :P
